BSI photocopying scheme

BSI Educational Copyright Licensing Scheme

BSI's Educational Licensing Scheme allows staff and students to copy British Standards for £0.31 per page of each individual standard copied (+VAT). This works out at about 10% of the cost of a printed original.

How can you join this scheme?

• Contact the BSI Licensing Department by email or by telephone - 020 8996 7070.
• An annual licence will be granted.
• Your organization then has permission to photocopy extracts from British Standards relevant to coursework.
• The annual fee is simply calculated on the number of photocopies of British Standards made by your institution. All you have to do is return a record of the number of pages copied.
