Management systems
Introducing a management system into an organisation needs commitment at all levels. These are the most commonly implemented management systems, and registration for certification to the standards can be gained through one of the certification bodies, including BSI.
ISO 9001
Implementation of the most commonly used Quality Management System provides an organisation with a set of processes to ensure a common sense approach to the management of the organisation, such as consistency and improvement of working practices.
ISO 14001
An Environmental Management System provides a framework for managing environmental responsibilities of an organisation. They are based on standards that specify a process of achieving continuously improved environmental performance and compliance with legislation.
BS 7799
An Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a systematic approach to managing sensitive information of an organisation so that it remains secure. It encompasses people, processes and IT systems.
