Features

Eyes

Features on toys can often be the most dangerous part of the toy. Normal behaviour of children has to be taken into account when you add features. We have to presume children do not take the same care as an adult would.

All features must not be so small that they would wholly fit into the cylinder test.

Whiskers

All features must be securely attached. Commercially there are many very safe attachments but they must be secured correctly.

Features, if attached by wires, must not break and protrude. Features must not become loose when subject to the tension test.

Ears

Record the features you wish to use and try the following tests.

Tests
Soft toys which have features are subject to cylinder test , torque test , tension test and soaking test.
