Remember babies put things in their mouths!

As you develop your product, each part must be tested to ensure it meets your design brief.

If your product is aimed for use by a child aged 0–3 then the appropriate labelling must be included.

You need to be aware of the tests performed in industry to meet BS EN 71 Safety of toys and to apply your own tests as you are developing your product.
