Attachments

Normal behaviour of children has to be taken into account when you add attachments. We have to presume children do not take the same care as an adult would.

All attachments must not be so small that they would not wholly fit into the cylinder test.

Toys with loose attachments (such as ribbons) for children under 36 months should have recommendations to remove them before giving to the young child.

Record the attachments you wish to use and try the following tests.

Soft toys which have attachments are subject to the cylinder test, torque test, tension test, soaking test and flammability tests.
