Quantitative Analysis
Quantitative analysis helps you find out how much of something is present in a substance. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is one example of quantitative analysis. Scientists have, among other things, used HPLC to discover that Egyptians mummified their cats, and that chocolate dates back to 600 BC.
