In GCSE Applied Science you don’t just learn the basics of science – you also see how people use science. This resource works in the same way.

All of the assignments can help towards Unit 1 of your course.

You might count micro-organisms, identify food dyes or test the strength of tissues. But whatever you do, you can be sure it’s based on real standard procedures and real British Standards used by real scientists in the real world.
