Alternative energy
With fossil fuel resources dwindling, renewable energy becomes more and more important. Wind, water and sun are the three main resources for alternative energy. They are environmentally friendly and don’t pose the safety problems of, for example, nuclear energy.
But it’s not always sunny or windy, and alternative energy tends to be variable. To ensure the safety and sturdiness of turbines, generators and other machines needed to produce solar or wind energy, Standards are in place.
The resources below can be used for Engineering GCSE and Manufacturing GCSE.
