Activity sheet 3 – Evaluation sheet
Now that you have collected information about the fabric samples, you need to reach some conclusions. Evaluating the different fabrics requires you to look at your results carefully and discuss, in your group, how well the fabrics did in each test. Remember that there is no right or wrong answer. Some materials are chosen because of price, colour or ease of manufacture, even though they may not be as suitable as other materials. In your groups, work through each of the five tests you completed and decide which of the fabrics performed best in each test. From the five finalists, you should select two fabrics that you would use in your final design.
