Activity sheet 2 - Writing a letter to Lord Coe, Leader of the Games bid

Dear Lord Coe,

Today at school we researched and looked into the advantages and potential problems associated with London 2012.

What we were really excited about was the prospect that the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games being held in London in 2012 are being promoted as the ‘Green Games’.

Our class split up to represent different interest groups affected by the Games, and investigated how the Games might impact upon them. Then we came back together as a class to debate what sustainable measures would be best for everyone.
