Sustainable development
These lessons use relevant examples and activities to engage students’ interest and activate their thinking skills.
Lesson One invites students to consider how the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will effect different groups in the community and further afield. Building on Lesson One, Lesson Two challenges students to investigate the difficulties and benefits of applying sustainability on an international level.
Both lesson plans support the National curriculum in Citizenship and Geography, with additional links to English.
